How To Apply

If you wish to submit an application for media accreditation at one or more of this year’s Drift Masters season events, please ensure you read all of the information outlined below before completing an application. Currently, this application portal is the only place to apply for media accreditation for Drift Masters events.

Media Rulebook Requirement

  • Before applying, you must read and agree to the latest Drift Masters Media Rulebook. The latest media rulebook can be found via the “Media Rulebook” button in this section.
  • Compliance with all media rules & regulations is mandatory for accreditation to be granted.
  • The Media Rulebook is subject to change at any time. The most recent version will apply to the next Drift Masters event and all subsequent events, and its rules must be adhered to accordingly.

WhatsApp Group for Media Updates

  • A WhatsApp group has been created for all interested media personnel. It is advised that anyone who is interested in media accreditation join this group as this group will notify members when applications open & close.
  • However, all media who gain accreditation for any Drift Masters events must join the WhatsApp group, as this group will be used throughout the course of each event to provide updates for accredited media.

Application Process

  • To apply for media accreditation you MUST complete the 2025 Drift Masters Media Application Form which can be found below.
  • Within your submission, please provide all required information and select the event(s) you wish to apply for. Please ensure you provide as much information as you feel relevant. We will not accept follow-up submissions or additions.
  • As part of all applications, you must confirm that you have read and agree to all media rules & regulations as per the latest Drift Masters Media Rulebook. As a reminder, compliance with all media rules & regulations is mandatory for accreditation to be considered.
  • Applications must be submitted before the deadline—late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. All of the deadlines for submissions for the current season can be found below.

Alternative Application Process

  • Select Drift Masters events may require media applications to be sent directly to the venue or local promoter.
  • When applicable, a link to the relevant application process will be provided in place of an application form on this website.

Please Note

  • It is important to note that submission of a media application is under no circumstances to be considered a guarantee that you will be granted accreditation.
  • Accreditation will be considered on either a full season or a per-event basis, and decision will be made by Drift Masters, at Drift Masters’ sole discretion and will be based on a number of factors as required.
  • Drift Masters reserves the right to rescind any accreditations granted at any time before or during the event for failure to follow the rules or direction of Drift Masters staff
  • All media accreditation submissions can be submitted for 1 person only and are solely for the person named on the application. Applications do not grant access for any helpers, assistants etc. Additional persons wishing to apply MUST apply separately.
  • If you are granted accreditation, you must still sign the waiver as instructed (either online and/or at the event) and attend media briefing at the event in order to receive access.

Current Season Application Deadlines

As mentioned above, all media applications must be submitted before the deadline and late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. All of the deadlines for submissions for the current season can be found here and any changes to this will be updated here. However do note that if all available media spaces for a Drift Masters event are alloted prior to the deadline, we reserve the right to close entries early, so submitting your application early is advised.

  1. Full Season Entry — Deadline:
    Thursday, April 10th, 2025 [PASSED]

  2. Round 1 • Italy — Deadline: Sunday, April 20th, 2025 [PASSED]

  3. Round 2 • Spain — Deadline:
    Sunday, May 11th, 2025

  4. Round 3 • Finland — Deadline:
    Sunday, June 1st, 2025

  5. Round 4 • Ireland — Deadline:
    Sunday, June 22nd, 2025

  6. Round 5 • Latvia — Deadline:
    Sunday, July 20th, 2025

  7. Round 6 • Germany — Deadline:
    Sunday, August 10th, 2025

  8. Round 7 • Poland — Deadline:
    Sunday, September 7th, 2025

Final Reminder Before Applying

The next and final step is to submit your Drift Masters media application. Before doing so, please ensure you can confirm you have done the following:

  • Read and agree to all media rules & regulations in the latest Drift Masters Media Rulebook.
  • Joined the Media WhatsApp Group.

Media Application Form

To submit an application for media accreditation for one or more Drift Masters events, please use the application form below. You must submit all required information truthfully and to the best of your ability for your accreditation to be considered.

Before completing the application, please read below regarding review timelines and what happens next after your application has been received.

Review Timeline

  • Full Season entry reviews will be completed ahead of the start of the season, no later than 3 days after the entry deadline for Round 1.
  • Entries that are not for a Full Season pass, containing one or more events, will be reviewed no later than 3 days after the entry deadline for each event.
  • Early responses are likely, but are not guaranteed.

Entries for Full 2025 Season

  • Before the season starts, you’ll receive one email confirming if you’ve been accepted or rejected for a 2025 Full Season Pass.
  • If Accepted, you do not need to do anything further. You will receive all relevant information for each event via email and in the WhatsApp group.
  • If Rejected, your application will automatically convert to individual entries for each round and follow the process outlined below for multi-event entries.

Entries for 1 or More (But Not All) 2025 Season Events

  • You’ll receive a separate email before each event you have applied for (within timeline outlined above) notifying you of the final status of your application.
